Our communities deserve healthy, flowing, clean rivers that protect our drinking water supplies, support our natural heritage, and provide opportunities for outstanding outdoor recreation. To ensure the health of our watershed, we are educating local residents about water conservation and river restoration. Last year alone we brought more than 250 South Shore residents to experience the North River first-hand through educational programs and boat tours.
NSRWA also engages youth and adults in a variety of hands-on programs that bring people closer to our local natural treasures. Together with our members and partners we engaged close 525 volunteers, many of them as citizen scientists counting herring, monitoring water quality, and surveying horseshoe crabs.
Show your support for healthy rivers by making a gift to our Annual Fund today. With your help we will be that strong and effective voice for the rivers, educate children and adults about water conservation, and connect people with the outdoors.
