The Swim Team joined the Great River Race as FundRacers to raise funds to get more kids outdoors to explore the South Shore!

We all know that getting kids outdoors is essential to their well-being and growth. A group of swimmers has signed onto our Great River Race as FundRacers to raise funds to get more kids outdoors. Monies raised directly benefit the outdoor programs of the North and South Rivers Watershed Association.
We believe one memorable outdoor experience can inspire a long-lasting love of the natural world. That’s why our FundRacers are raising funds to help get children and their families outside to explore nature on the South Shore. With your help, kids will be able to feel the thrill of reeling in a wriggling striper at the Spit, paddle the North River on a lazy summer day. hike into the cool shade of local woods, or dig for clams in the flats along the rivers.
We want people to experience the peace and beauty of the natural world in their our own backyard–and the exciting diversity of local waters and conservation areas on the South Shore. The NSRWA has been protecting our local waters since 1970 and needs our help to get more kids outdoors to explore nature and learn about the environment and science in fun and meaningful ways.
